RRH Hydraulic Rail Ramp
Rail Car Ramp Hydraulic Dock Leveler
The RRH Series rail car ramp leveler is structurally designed for the most demanding applications with easy push button convenience for smooth, consistent operation plus outstanding toughness and dependability in your most challenging rail dock operations. McGuire offers a rail ramp hydraulic dock leveler to meet your rail dock needs while providing low lifetime ownership costs and years of trouble free service with the industry’s best built-in safety. They are normally mounted on face of wall but can also be put into a short recessed pit. Various sizes and capacities allow for flexibility. Hydraulic rail ramp levelers have added safety features and save time in operation and maintenance.
They come in ramp widths of 6’, 6’6”, 7’, 7’6”,8’ and 8’6” with centerline track dimensions of 8’7” to 9’4” and 9’5” to 11’0”. Standard capacities for the “RRH” Series are 40K, 50K and 60K CIR (Comparative Industry Rating).

Rail Car Ramp Controls Available
The standard is a wall mount control panel. An optional hand held control is available that allows for somewhat better visibility when positioning the unit into the rail car door opening.

Standard Run-off Guards on Sides With End Loading Support Arms
Run-off guards assist in the prevention of accidents by keeping your forklift driver near the center of the unit. They are standard with all RHR units. The end loading support arms can “hook” the bed of railcar to support unloading of materials right at the door until space is clear for lip.

Power Up and Power Down Operation
Our constant pressure up, down and lip buttons require the operator to continually monitor positioning of unit. Release of a button prematurely stops the unit wherever it is and alerts the attendant that they must be involved to operate the unit.

Roller Trolley Assembly for Lateral Movement
This allows for unit to be shifted from side to side to accommodate the position of the rail car. This can be done manually or through the use of an optional hydraulic side shift control.
